Maleme & Falassarna Tour
Heritage, Tradition & Golden Shores

Our journey begins at Maleme, a place of profound historical importance. We visit the Royal Air Force (RAF) Memorial, dedicated to the brave airmen who fought during the Battle of Crete in 1941. Standing at this historic site, you will feel the weight of the past while overlooking the airfield that changed the course of World War II.

Next, we travel to the village of Vouves to witness a living legend: the Olive Tree of Vouves. Estimated to be over 3,000 years old, it is one of the oldest olive trees in the world and still produces fruit! Explore the adjacent Olive Museum to discover the sacred bond between the Cretan people and the olive oil culture that dates back to the Minoan era.

We continue to the historic Monastery of Panagia Gonia (Lady of the Angels) in Kolymbari. This 17th-century fortress-like monastery overlooks the sea and houses a priceless collection of Byzantine icons and manuscripts. Its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere offer a unique glimpse into the deep religious roots of the island.

Our final destination is the majestic Falassarna Bay. Known for its endless stretch of golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, it is consistently ranked among the best beaches in Europe. Whether you want to swim in the refreshing Libyan Sea, relax under the sun, or explore the ruins of the ancient Roman harbor, Falassarna is the perfect exotic end to an unforgettable day.

A perfect blend of World War II history, ancient nature, spiritual heritage, and world-class beach relaxation.
