Our tour starts at the serene Lake Agia, a peaceful freshwater ecosystem and a haven for rare birds and local flora. It’s the perfect spot for a morning stroll by the water, offering a calm, green landscape that feels miles away from the busy coast.
We then enter the breathtaking Theriso Gorge. As we drive through the towering cliffs and lush plane trees, you’ll experience one of the most scenic routes in Crete. The road leads us to the historic Theriso Village, the cradle of Cretan revolution, where history and tradition meet under the peaks of the White Mountains.
Ascending further, we reach the mountainous village of Zourva. Perched high on the slopes, it offers "alpine" views and crisp mountain air. It’s the ultimate destination for food lovers, famous for its authentic tavernas serving traditional mountain recipes and local delicacies.
Our journey continues to the picturesque village of Meskla, nestled in a verdant valley surrounded by olive and orange groves.
